BigMachines is ISO 27001 certified, a status awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), requiring that companies methodically examine security threats, liabilities, and potential systems impacts. These best-in-class companies then create and implement a wide-ranging collection of controls to address intolerable risks. ISO 27001 certification requires that a company adopts best-practice processes to manage all risks and actions, and meet the organization's security needs on an ongoing basis. This accreditation further showcases BigMachines’ commitment to the highest security standards for our customers and partners.
BigMachines has successfully completed the SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) Type II audit. SAS 70 is a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities. This certification assures our customers that we have effective controls, standards and infrastructure in place to protect their data.
